The Union derives most of its funds from the monthly dues of its members; of which 60% of the dues goes to the central body and the other 40% remains for each local branch to carry out its services and programs.

Other funds are obtained through fundraising activities such as the Annual Convention and raffle, contributions to the Death Fund and from assistance from national and International affiliated agencies such as Education International.
