Greetings Members; It is with esteemed honor, pride and happiness in my heart that I get to address you as President of BNTU Toledo Rural Branch.Our union has withstood the hands of time and has blossomed over the years. This notwithstanding, I must accredit you, our valued executive and general membership. It is through your continued support and solidarity that we are stronger than ever! I have always believed that togetherness and continued support are key to persevering for a wonderful cause. Firstly, I must express sincere gratitude and appreciation for the great work of the prior Executive. It is evident that they worked diligently to allow for great strides for our Toledo Rural Branch and the wider union. The Executive of now, for which I am the one at controls, have quite some shoes to fill.
The good news is that we have an extremely capable team and I have every confidence that we will do our best to propel our branch forward. Secondly, I believe in positive growth and great achievements through hard work and teamwork. In regards to growth, my Executive and I want to build our membership over our tenure. It is our mandate, in my humble opinion, to work towards the betterment of all teachers in our branch and ultimately our wider union. No member teacher should be left behind! Our Executive and I will do our best to ensure that all members feel valued and appreciated. We will work towards bringing awareness to the wider public that we teachers work hard and deserve to be respected as professionals. All these great ideas and many more will be tabled collectively to help make the professional lives of our member teachers better.
Finally, I would like to thank all members for your continued support of our great union. As your humble leader, my capable Executive and I, promise to do our very best. I strongly believe in having an open mind and being fair to all involved. Solidarity forever and always!
