San Ignacio President Message

Greetings brothers and sisters. During the course of the year our life is consumed with so many things like work, school, family etc. So, it is during the holiday season that we slow down for a second to reflect. As we come to the end of 2021, I would like to personally thank the BNTU San Ignacio Branch members and executive for all the outstanding work done throughout the year.

As we head into the new year, 2022, with many celebrating the Christmas season in its essence, please take time to hold your family close while following all safety guidelines. Family gatherings are being redefined similar to our daily lives. The disruption to routine things we are accustomed to doing has been eye opening and life altering for many of us but necessary for our long-term health. The usual Christmas glee and merriment that we have been used to is not possible this year. Nevertheless, our celebration of Christmas should not be dampened by Covid. We can still spread hope, peace, joy and love this Season! I ask you to keep in your prayers all those who have been affected by the pandemic, especially teachers and their families. May the good Lord also bless and restore strength and health to all teachers who may be struggling with other health issues.

This year has been difficult for all of us, but we must cling to Hope. That amidst all of the confusion and fear that the pandemic has brought, God is with us, has always been and will always be with us. Please do not hesitate to call if you have questions or concerns, your union is here to assist you. I wish each and every one a very Holy, Blessed and Peaceful Christmas Season!

May the baby Jesus continue to have room in your hearts and lives. May you be blessed abundantly with faith, hope and love! We will all get through this crisis together.
